Hotel Tragos is one historic hotel. According to a carved stone above the entrance, it has been standing since 1275. The old house expanded into a stately baroque palace in the 18th century; today, along with many others in Trogir’s Old Town, the building is UNESCO-protected. Apart from an attractively contemporary makeover, little has changed since the 1780s; ancient walls are punctuated by tiny shutters that still reveal old stone walls and canopies of beams. The décor of our 12 comfortable rooms is also traditional. Rooms are fresh, uncluttered and modern, with pale pine sofas and beds, fabrics in warm sunshiny colours and scatter rugs on floors. Bathrooms display big cream and black tiles; some have tubs, others just showers; all are a cut above the average.
Every room is equipped with a bathroom, a telephone, air conditioning systems, SOS sistem, mini-bar, TV/SAT and Internet access.
The room service is awailable 24 hours a day.
For meals you have restaurant Tragos who has a long lasting tradition of serving home made specialities like pasticada, brudet, fish and much more with a pretty sun terrace and a charming stone-clad restaurant serving authentic Dalmatian dishes, spilling onto a second ivy-draped terrace behind.
And what a position we have - 20 metres from the main square in Trogir,the Pjaca and the famous St. Lawrence cathedral. .
