Insulă Ciovo

Ciovo is located in center dalmatia, and is connected by a movable bridge to Trogir. This island is also considered a peninsula due to its incredible closenes to Trogir.

Ciovo was colonised back from the Roman empire, yet it was during the middle ages that small villages began sprouting from place to place in that area. Considering that the island is mostly rocky, there can also be found a few caves of which Bilosaj and Anicina caves are the most famous.

Ciovo can seem like an extention of Trogir. The island offers many beaches of which the locals are very proud of, as well as historical landmarks making this island a specific and fun place to visit.
