Orebić

Town with more than 1500 inhabitants, on the south side of the Pelješac peninsula, turned towards Korčula, at the foot of the Sv.Ilija mountain(961m). Colorful town, birthplace of navala captains and sailors whose rich tradition is kept in the Orebic naval museum. Orebić provides to its guests untouched nature of centennial pines, cypresses, olives, almonds, agaves and flowers.

Orebić gives excellent oportunities to take walks along the sea where Orebić yards are lined up, along the picturesque sandy beaches and vegetation or further inland.

All those seeking more active vacation, Pelješac offers various possibilities of recreation at sea: from swimming, windsurfing (ideal locations in Pelješac canal in front of the Punta Liberan and tourist complex Perna), water skiing, rowing and sailing, underwater fishing.
