Island Brac - Bol , Where to eat
Photo galleryOpis:
Konoba Gust
The interior of this rustic konoba off Bol's main square is a collection of weathered green shutters, wine bottles, giant floor plants and wicker lampshades under a wooden-beamed ceiling. Tables spread outside an line the foyer, done up with traditional farm equipment and pictures of celebrities. The homely atmosphere brings folks in but it's the food, as they say, which brings them back. The gregada- a stew of boiled fish, scampi, shells, potatoes, onions and herbs- is the speciality. There are also lovely steaks, lobster spaghetti and veal served over rice with a tomato, cream and cheese sauce- plus a wonderful selection of top-end reds and whites. Open: Easter-Nov noon-2 am daily. The tired terraces are great places to take in the sunset and enjoy the fabulous fish, which sizzle on an outdoor grill. The menu also offers good meat dishes and thinly sliced Dalmatian ham as an appetiser. Open May-Oct 5pm-midnight daily Credit: MC, Visa Informacije
