FAQ

Why does it say that the accommodation unit is available, while we get a response from your company that the unit is not available?

It's possible that when you requested that unit, the status of the unit was not updated on our site. Even though our site is updated on a daily basis, the availability tends to change quickly in the peak seasons. Therefore it is necessary for us to check directly with the owner to see if the unit is actually available.

What do the symbols in the code of an accommodation stand for?

In our private accommodation offers the following symbols are used:

  • H- Home, self standing object in which no other guests are present and neither is the owner.
  • AP- Apartment, accommodation unit with one or more rooms, private bathroom, kitchen.
  • APS- Apartment studio, accommodation unit with bedroom and kitchen in one, private bathroom.
  • R- Room, hotel type accommodation unit. Most rooms have private bathrooms, otherwise it would be marked on the side if it was shared. In this type of accommodation guests have no ability to prepare food.

In each building, there can be multiple units. In each building (except houses) the owners mainly live on the premises.

What do the numbers next to the code of an accommodation stand for?

In case there are multiple accommodations located in one building, each accommodation therefore they have their own number within that building (i.e. 1, 2, 3...). For example, in AP-618-3 there are two more units, therefore this is clearly the third unit. The other two would then be marked as AP-618-1, and AP-618-2, which could all be the same or completely different capacities.

Capacity of Accommodations

One room can contain a maximum of two main beds, which means the capacities are marked as follows:

  • 6+2: three bedrooms each with two main beds, +2 spare beds.
  • 4+2: two bedrooms each with two main beds, +2 spare beds which can be located within the kitchen, living room or any of the two bedrooms.
Very often the spare beds are regular beds but could be in the form of a sofa.
  • 2+2: one bedroom with two main beds (most often queen sized), +2 spare beds.

How are the prices on Cromaris.net presented?

All prices are presented in Euros/per day, depending on which season it is and how many people there are per accommodation.
